For reference

An outstanding monument of the nature of the park is Synevyr Lake - wetland of international importance and one of the seven natural wonders of Ukraine. It stretches between mountains at an altitude of 989 meters above sea level. Poetically named by Sea by the people, Synevyr Lake is a real pearl of the Carpathians. From the height of the bird's flight, it resembles an eye. In the middle of the island, like a pupil, and a long branch of the fir-like eyelashes. For tourists around the Synevyr Lake is laid an ecological path.

Not less attractive is the Wild Lake, which is on the slopes of Mount Gropa. Its area is slightly more than a hectare. But the radius is unique, because it never dipped into a blue bowl. Here, fluctuations in water level do not occur, as the area of the rainforest does not change. The vegetation of an unnamed island resembles a tundra flora. Growing on it small spruce, and the island itself is formed by brown-red sphagnum mosses, between which grows small-leafed cranberry. The depth of the lake reaches 8 m. The water is clean, clear. Here lives gollyan. These are small fish that scavenge the flocks near the shore in search of food. An ecological footprint is laid to Wild Lake.

Sphagnum oligotrophic swamps Glukhanya and Zamshatka, where a number of rare species grow, serve as an object of intense attention of scientists.

In 2011, the NNP "Synevyr" created a rehabilitation center for brown bears, where are conducting rehabilitation of animals of this species who were abused in captivity. The center occupies an area of 12 hectares. Now there are 25 bears of bears.

The picturesque nature of the Synevyr national natural park attracts tourists from all over the world, which prompts active recreational and environmental education activities. There are motels, developed ecological, scientific-cognitive trails and tourist routes. The object of attention of visitors is also the ancient wooden churches - architectural monuments of the local ethnic group of boycos. More about the unique nature and cultural heritage of the region visitors are acquainted with the ecological visit-center.
