Seminar about rural tourism at NNP "Synevyr"

On the 7th of November, the seminar "Rural Tourism: How to start and how to succeed," initiated by the Department of Economic Development and Trade of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, was held on the basis of the visit center of the NNP "Synevyr".

During the seminar, it was a question of the legal basis for provision of temporary accommodation and food services in farmsteads and agro-tourism. This was described in detail by Bogdan Pranychuk, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Union for the Promotion of Rural Green Tourism Development. He also shared the leading examples of successful industry projects and offered to familiarize himself with methodological recommendations for owners of rural homesteads, which are a serious development and can help improve work.

There was a question about the categorization and standardization of agro-tourism objects, about which the participants of the workshop was acquainted Pavlo Horishevsky, head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Association for the promotion of rural green tourism. The speaker also spoke about effective promotional activities that help promote recreational services, attracting a sufficient number of clients.

About the estimation of the consumer market and its segmentation was discussed in the report of the Associate Professor of the Department of Tourism, Uzhgorod National University, Andrew Melnyk. Also it was interesting the information about the European experience of rural tourism and successful practices in the Carpathian region. An example of successful people is inspiring and motivating.

At the end of the seminar, the expert of the Department of Economic Development and Trade of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Lyubov Kogush wished the participants new ideas, successes in their implementation and presented certificates.
