The results of the project on the arrangement of the mineral water source in Kolochava village have been successfully presented
During October 18-20, 2018, a final meeting took place in Lviv in the framework of the project "Program of Environmental Public Initiatives for the East and West of Ukraine". The project was implemented by the Foundation for Development of NGO "West Ukrainian Resource Center" in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Participation in the meeting was taken by the General Consul of the Czech Republic in Lviv, Pavel Peshek and Director of the Department of Ecological Network and Nature Reserve Fund of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
Participants of the meeting - 14 public organizations from the East and West of Ukraine - presented the results of their implemented micro-projects. Among them is the project on the arrangement of the mineral water source in Kolochava, which was successfully implemented by the public association "Society" Synij Vyr "in partnership with the national natural park" Synevyr ". The project was implemented during July-September 2018. During this time has been carried out considerable construction work, in particular, pedestrian tracks with natural stones and territory around the leakage of mineral water, were dug and decorated ditches were dug and decorated, was restored wooden shelter over the source, were installed new fencing, benches and so on. National Natural Park “Synevyr”, which co-financed the project, provided all the necessary wooden materials and made informational stands.
The purpose of the project: to reduce the negative anthropogenic load on a natural object by its arrangement; to conduct active ecological and educational work in order to prevent the destruction of the source in the future.
