On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Yavoriv NNP establishment, was conducted an international scientific and practical conference "Environmental conservation, eco-education, recreational and tourist, historical and cultural aspects of sustainable development of Roztochya".

On behalf of the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine Ostap Semerak, the staff of the park greeted the director of the department of ecological network and nature conservation fund of the Ministry of Environment, Viktor Klid.

"The anniversary of your park is personal for me. I came myself from Lviv, and I spent my childhood in the Carpathians. Just as you, I know the nature of these mountains and the peculiarity of the nature of Roztochya. I understand well that the fate of the Ukrainian land depends on the work each of you, my fellow countrymen from nature conservation to many years of the permanent director of Bilyak Mikhail, "the Minister said in congratulations.

The conference was attended by the first leaders of the Yavoriv district, delegations from the Roztochansky Park of the People, the Commune of the Lublin Union, the leaders and specialists of the 10 environmental protection institutions of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, researchers from Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk.

Oleksandr Hanushchyn, the head of the Lviv regional council, positively evaluated the international cooperation of Yavoriv NNP in connection with the introduction of European forms of bequest, the use of natural resources in recreational activities.

Participation in the conference was attended by representatives of NNP "Synevyr", namely: Deputy Director for Research, Ph.D. Yuriy Tyukh and chief naturalist Vasyl Shishiga. They congratulated colleagues on the 20th anniversary of the Yavoriv NNP, wished success in further work and presented a picture of the Carpathian landscape.
